Some Spooky fun....

I had Sweetpea, last night and in an effort to keep her busy decided it would be a good night to crawl up in the attic and get down the Halloween decorations and get ready for the hobgoblins and critters of the night....

Sweetpea wanted to climb the ladder and help. So she gets up there takes one look around and gives me the look..."Aunt Witch, you have got a lot of junk...." JUNK.... I don't have junk, its treasures... "Looks like junk.." So I decided to prove it was not junk, now I don't think she will ever want to play any where accept the attic... The box of old costumes, from my childhood, my kids, and various other plays and such... proved to be entertaining... We got to be frogs, gorillas, a Pilgrim, clown, devil, dancing pigs (my favorite!)... We got down the decorations, at first the huge spiders proved to be a bit of a problem, I couldn't get her to come in the room, then she found the double axe (plastic) and felt that she could deal with the spiders now she was armed... She proceeded to run through the house whacking everything but at least she stopped screeching at the sight of the spiders... So this is what we accomplished. I love making a back ground to take photo's of my trick or treaters...
All 4 of them... yep, I live in the boonies.. but I keep hoping that someone will find us and rescue us from the 20 pounds of candy I buy every year, JUST IN CASE... hey, the word has to get out some day...I know this will be the year when a van of 50 kids shows up... Ok that would be a bus...but I can dream...

Will you be home when that time comes, or will you still be on the road driving back?
