a few of our new views

This is the view out the back door toward Cayuga Lake.  We are directly in the middle of both Cayuga and Seneca Lakes with a time of 9 minutes to each lake.  The back yard is fenced in for the pups.  We will be putting in pasture on the other side of this fence for Pete and the sheep.  These fields directly behind us are owned and farmed by an Amish family.  Joel spoke with two of the boys on Sunday, who were checking out our camper that we parked out behind the house and they have 13 brothers and sisters.  They are a dairy farm, right up my alley and their cows graze a field over so I get to have cows in my view, this pleases me immensely.

This view is from the island in the kitchen to the living room.  As you can see this is the largest part of the downsize for me and the one part I really had to think about before going ahead with the deal.  It will be cozy and I do cozy so well.  No more wasted space that I pay to heat and am taxed to death on.  No more yelling through the house to have Joel repeat himself, this part maybe worth more than the money we save.
