Dog, pigs, goats and some smore sum up last week

It was a full week away from the "other" job.  Others may call this a vacation, time-away, rest, heaven.

Me, I just had fun.

I took the nieces to the Farm Sanctuary in Watkins Glen for an afternoon

They asked Uncle Joel for a bonfire during our overnight and we made Smore's,

Mr. Pork chop was a three day old piglet that was rejected by mama pig and needed to be on a bottle.  He came to visit via some friends, he was so cute and cuddly unfortunately he did not make it.

I ended up making a dog suit for BooBoo to get him to stop licking a hot spot.  It was a huge pain in the butt, but it worked.  Doesn't he look thrilled at his new threads?

These turkey's really enjoyed being fed and petted by the girls.

Then there was the big dig out and clearing of trees and truck loads of stone and then more grading and there is still more to come.  We now have an official crusher run road to the barn.  Things are moving along and this pleases the Professor to no end.

As you can see below, the hens made a bee line for the coop when the machine started ripping out trees.

and yes at this point it was dinner time and I had the grill fired up.  Chicken, it was yummylishous!

There were sewing projects completed as well as helping Samantha move into her new apartment, that is very nice despite all the damn stairs.  My knee is thanking no one at this point and is looking forward to our appointment with the orthopedic surgeon this week.  The rest of me has reservations.
